PKWARE Named a Winner in the 2021 International Business Awards

Company’s PK Protect product suite honored with bronze Stevie Award in Governance, Risk & Compliance Solution category

MILWAUKEE – August 16, 2021 – PKWARE, a global leader in automated data security, today announced it was named the winner of a bronze Stevie® Award in the 18th Annual International Business Awards®. The company’s compliance solutions, which are included in its PK Protect product suite, were honored in the Governance, Risk & Compliance Solution category.

“We are honored to be recognized as part of the International Business Awards program because it truly represents how our compliance solutions stack up against the worldwide stage,” said Spencer Kupferman, CEO of PKWARE. “The award also underscores the important role our compliance solutions, including PK Privacy, do to help our customers maintain worldwide data compliance, including specific requirements within their individual industries.”

The International Business Awards are the world’s premier business awards program. All individuals and organizations worldwide—public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small—are eligible to submit nominations. The 2021 IBAs received entries from organizations in 63 nations and territories.

More than 3,700 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories. Stevie Award winners were determined by the average scores of more than 260 executives worldwide who participated in the judging process from June through early August.

The Stevie Award judges offered high praise for PKWARE’s solution, including the following comments: Crucial and valuable contribution, well documented and supported” and “Great data governance solution in place at PKWARE.”

PK Protect removes the guesswork and legwork for customers by eliminating data security gaps, automating the management and protection of sensitive information, and meeting data compliance goals. And because compliance is a multi-faceted effort, requiring involvement from multiple departments, vendors and partners, the platform is designed to fit into an organization’s overall compliance strategy. PK Protect provides a feature-rich framework for meeting a range of requirements, including GDPR, PCI DSS Compliance, HIPPA/HITECH, NYCRR 500, TISAX and the California Consumer Privacy Act.

“What we’ve seen in this year’s IBA nominations is that organizations around the world, in every sector, have continued to innovate and succeed, despite the setbacks, obstacles and tragedies of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic,” said Stevie Awards president Maggie Gallagher. “All of this year’s Stevie Award winners are to be applauded for their persistence and their resilience.”

PKWARE previously won two gold 2021 American Business Awards® for Governance, Risk & Compliance Solution and International Data Protection Solution.
