EMBARGOED UNTIL 8:00 A.M. ET, TUESDAY, OCTOBER 20, 2026
The two awards recognize PKWARE for protecting sensitive data across endpoint, cloud, and mainframe under one policy, and for durable, quantum-ready encryption.
MILWAUKEE, WIS. — October 20, 2026 — PKWARE has won two 2026 Top InfoSec Innovator Awards from Cyber Defense Magazine: Most Innovative Data Security Platform and Best Solution Post Quantum Crypto. Cyber Defense Magazine announced the winners today at CyberDefenseCon 2026 in Orlando, two months after naming PKWARE a finalist in both categories.
Many organizations run one tool to find sensitive data and another to protect it. PK Protect does both, so teams see more of their data, have fewer systems to learn, and spend less keeping it all running. The protection stays with the data, so a copied or shared file is still unreadable to anyone who shouldn’t have it.
Future quantum computers are expected to break the encryption most organizations rely on today, and attackers are already stealing encrypted data to open later. PKWARE has added post-quantum encryption across its products, so the data customers protect today stays protected.
“Two wins in the two categories we care about most — I couldn’t be more proud of this team!” said Tonya Cannady, President & Chief Revenue Officer, PKWARE. “Our engineers did the post-quantum work early so our customers won’t be scrambling to catch up later, and they’ve spent years making sure protection follows the data wherever it goes. Thank you to Cyber Defense Magazine and the judges for seeing it.”
“PKWARE embodies three major features we judges look for with the potential to become winners: understanding tomorrow’s threats, today, providing a cost-effective solution and innovating in unexpected ways that can help mitigate cyber risk and get one step ahead of the next breach,” said Gary S. Miliefsky, Publisher of Cyber Defense Magazine.
